Real commitment

The European Commission has defined corporate social responsibility as “a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis”.
(European Commission, Green Paper, July 2001)

Corporate social responsibility is, for our clients too, a sign of a growing attention toward ethical, social and environment issues; this particular attention is an added value that needs daily, tangible and real actions and not merely abstract and generic statements. At MBS we believe that a management consultancy firm, acting on important decision for its clients, has responsibility of its impact both in respect to business results and stakeholders interests.
For example: if we are assisting a client in a restructuring project, it is clear that identifying and evaluating solutions for a “responsible downsizing” considering its effects on employees and local community is a key responsibility of the HR department of our client but also of our advisory role.

Our social responsibility sphere of intervention doesn’t confine with our work with clients; MBS has decided to make available to the community its energy and expertise in order to create a more equal and sustainable model of business in Italy.

Sustainability reports

An initiative started in 2010 to report our activities in a transparent way.


Since 2009 MBS Consulting is partner of Italian Forum for Sustainable Finance, an ONG whose mission is promoting social responsibility culture in the Italian investment sector. MBS is, to this date, the one and only management consultancy in the Forum.


To put into effect its social involvement, MBS has conceived and co-founded Make a Change, the first Italian organisation for development of companies with social purpose: innovative private subjects that offer products and services with social value in a sustainable way.
